Norman Heckh joined Ramón y Cajal Abogados in 2014 as Lead Partner to establish and develop the firm’s TMT practice area.
Over these years of practice, Norman has become a leading lawyer in the industry, receiving the recognition of the main international legal directories.
In addition to his expertise in matters relating to commercial law, he has extensive experience of advising national and international companies regarding data protection, information security and cybersecurity, online and in-person gaming and gambling, and outsourcing and cloud computing processes and agreements, the drafting and negotiation of IT agreements, legal compliance, advising in matters relating to e-commerce and distance selling, intellectual property, telecommunications, media and e-signature projects, among others.
He combines his legal advisory services with his work as co-ordinator of the firm’s international strategy and with teaching on various specialist master’s programmes relating to data protection, IT agreements, online business and social media, given by the most prestigious Spanish universities and business schools. He is also arbitrator of the IT and Telecommunications Section of the Court of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid.
Before joining Ramón y Cajal Abogados Norman worked as Head of the IT&C, Privacy and Gaming & Gambling Practice of Deloitte Abogados and at the law firm Baker & McKenzie.
